• Heart-based learning system (3 hearts per day for free users)
• XP points awarded for completing lessons correctly
• Heart refill system through watching advertisements
• Progress tracking and gamification features
• Community leaderboards for comparing progress with other users
• Premium subscription options with unlimited hearts

3. User Accounts

Registration

To access certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your account credentials confidential
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if:

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

Free Service

We offer a free tier of our Service that includes:

• 3 hearts per day (hearts are lost when answering incorrectly)
• Access to all VFX courses and disciplines
• XP points for completing lessons correctly
• Ability to refill hearts by watching advertisements
• Progress tracking and leaderboard participation
• Basic lesson access across all VFX categories

Premium Subscription

Our premium subscription ("VFX Lingo Pro") is available for 9 € per month and includes:

• Unlimited hearts (no daily limit or wrong answer penalties)
• Access to all courses without restrictions
• Ad-free experience (no need to watch ads for heart refills)
• Priority customer support
• Enhanced progress tracking features

Billing and Renewal

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of price increases, and you may cancel your subscription if you do not agree to the new pricing.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purposes
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Upload or transmit malicious code or content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools to access the Service without permission

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content

9. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

For German consumers: You have the right to withdraw from your subscription contract within 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day of contract conclusion.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day we are informed about your decision to withdraw.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with German law, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the German courts.

11. Changes to Terms
